For the Global Warming Skeptics

Global "warming," eventhough a misnomer, is absolutely, categorically, definitely happening. You may not notice a rise in temperature, but that doesn't mean everything is normal.

Global warming doesn't mean more tropical conditions - more like total weather and ecological pandemonium. Recently, over 1,000 African seabirds washed ashore in the southeastern United States, starved to death. Researchers don't know exactly why they couldn't find appropriate food, but something is definitely out of the ordinary.

Furthermore, our CO2 emissions are contributing to it, as scientifically determined over 100 years ago - and Mother Nature is not built to handle this! Yes there was a similar warming period 6,000 years ago, but the cause was not the same.

In summary, the mid-Holocene, roughly 6,000 years ago, was generally warmer than today, but only in summer and only in the northern hemisphere.
